Description: Sunol Peak is a fairly new addition to Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park. I recommend it for people who would like to do Mission Peak, but want to avoid crowds. Cows will likely outnumber people. It is a fairly simple hike up a ridge to a summit at 2178 feet, with great views. This is mostly an out and back hike. There will be plenty of options to do a shorter version of the hike.
Bring/Wear: Plenty of water, hat, sun protection and lunch
Rain Policy: Contact hike leader if weather is questionable.
