SF Carpooling Meeting Location: Whole Foods: 2001 Market St. @ Dolores (on the Dolores St. side); parking on the street or below.  Please only show up at Whole Foods if you've arranged to meet your ride or driver there.

East Bay Carpooling Meeting Location: Rockridge BART, bottom of escalator. Please only show up at Rockridge if you've arranged to meet your ride or driver there.

PARTY BEGINS AT NOON.
The SFHC Officers invite you to help celebrate our 42nd Anniversary at our annual summer party - starting at noon. This event is open to club members and one guest. Please make sure to register by Thursday 8/7/24 so we can plan the food.

The Club will provide all the food and soft drinks.  There should be sufficient food for everyone, but feel free to bring a dish to share if you feel inclined - there's never too much!  We will provide several vegetarian and vegan dishes plus the usual hot dogs, burgers and veggie burgers. BYO alcohol or some other favorite beverage if you'd like.  

At some point during the party we will have the (very brief) annual meeting required by our club bylaws. We will conduct official club business (election of officers, voting on issues, etc.). Please let us know in advance if you have any issues or suggestions that you'd like addressed. 

If you would like to add your name as a write-in candidate for any board position, please let us know ahead of time. Otherwise our 'slate' of officers will remain the same as it was last year. 

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted.

Please let us know if you're able to help at the burger/veggie-burger/hot dog grill.  We would love the help!

Bring / Wear:  Sun screen, plus any dish or alcoholic beverage that you'd like to bring - otherwise we should have plenty of food! 

Rain Policy:  Party should go on rain or shine.  If weather is questionable or there's abundant smoke from fires we'll send out a notice to everyone, or you can email us at info@sfhiking.com.

Driving Distance from SF:  40 miles total, there and back. 

Carpooling:  We'll be shuttling people to the party from Rockridge BART Station at 11:45 sharp. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU'LL BE NEEDING A RIDE FROM BART:  info@sfhiking.com

Carpooling from SF: If getting to Rockridge BART is not practical, there should be a few cars leaving from Whole Foods able to take passengers.  Fee Per Passenger from SF (including bridge toll):  $7.00

Party Location:  NOON at 10415 Greenview Drive, Oakland, CA. Take the Bay Bridge then 580 East to the Golf Links Rd. exit. Follow Golf Links Rd and Elysian Fields Dr. to Greenview Dr. Park on the street.
