SF Meeting Location Whole Foods @ 2001 Market St. Meet on the Dolores St. side.(There's parking on the street or below the building.

Description: Join us for a moderately strenuous up and down hike in the hills on the eastern side of Mt Diablo and western side of Morgan Territory parks. Wildflower enthusiasts flock to Morgan Territory in spring when many plants unfurl and bloom with furious intensity. Grassy hillsides and valleys are taken over in a beautiful display of brodiaea, buttercup, popcorn flowers, blue eyed grass, woodland star, fiddleneck, and blue dicks. Tucked away in the woods you might glimpse larkspur and chinese houses. Over half of the hike is on exposed trails so please apply sunscreen accordingly.

Bring / Wear: Please bring plenty of water, lunch and sturdy hiking shoes.

Rain Policy: Cancelled in the event of rain. Contact hike leader in the event of a rain forecast.

Dogs: Dogs are not allowed in the state park (over half the hike).

Trailhead Meeting Place: Finley Rd in Danville; From SF, I-80 E to CA 24 to I-680 South to Exit 38 / Sycamore Valley Rd. Proceed East 8.9 mi. to left on Finley Rd. Parking is about 1.3 miles up Finley road. Look for parked cars. There is no parking closer to the end of Finley Rd. Google Maps link
