SF Meeting Location: Whole Foods; 2001 Market St. @ Dolores (on the Dolores St. side); parking on the street or below. Please only show up at Whole Foods if you've arranged to meet your ride or driver there.
East Bay Meeting Location: Rockridge BART, bottom of escalator.
Please only show up at Rockridge if you've arranged to meet your ride or driver there.

Description: This hike will have a number of short stops as I photograph a variety of wildflowers. We start with a steep climb up Flag Hill, followed by an unofficial path up the nearby Sam's Peak. Later we will climb a steep path to the summit of the western Maguire Peak for some excellent views. There will be several options for you to take a shorter version of our route. Bring/Wear: Plenty of water, good hiking shoes, lunch, sun protection, layered clothing.

Trailhead Meeting Place: Directions to trailhead (Sunol Visitor Center, 1895 Geary Rd, Sunol, CA 94586): Take 580 east to 680 south. Exit on Calaveras Road in Sunol, turn left, and follow Calaveras about 4 miles south. Turn left on Geary Road. Meet in front of the visitors center which is on the left just after the entrance kiosk.
