Description: Ed R. Levin County Park is a gem in the Springtime - wildflowers should be at their peak. During the hike we'll have amazing views of Mission Peak, but with a much more gradual climb, and no crowds! We'll have views of Sandy Wool Lake, rolling hills, Santa Clara Valley and the Bay. We may see cows as well! Dogs are welcome in the park.
Bring / Wear: Please bring plenty of water, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, lunch and sturdy hiking shoes - and chocolate!

Trailhead Meeting Place: Sandy Wool Lake parking - Milpitas. From SF take US 101 to CA-237 East toward Alviso/Milpitas. It eventually becomes W. Calaveras. At Downing Road, turn left and go to the end. From Oakland, take 880 south. Take the Mission Blvd exit (262) to 680. Take Jacklin Rd exit. Left onto Jacklin. Continue onto Evans Rd. Left onto Calaveras, left onto Downing to the end. Google Maps Link
