Description: This hike features about 6 waterfalls, expansive views of the bay from the top of San Pedro Ridge, and many wildflowers. We'll go on a wide variety of trails, many of them unofficial (but frequently used), a few fire roads and paved roads, and a few short off-trail sections. We'll hike in Harry Barbier Memorial Park, San Pedro Mountain Open Space Preserve, and China Camp State Park. It will be mostly shady. Expect madrones, manzanitas, and a few redwoods.
Bring / Wear: Sturdy hiking boots, lunch, water, layers.
Weather Policy: Hike will take place rain or shine.
Trailhead Meeting Place: From 101 or 580 take the Central San Rafael exit onto Irwin St. Shortly turn left onto Belle Ave, the right onto Grand Ave. Then left onto Mountain View Ave to the end. Google Maps Link
