Description:  Starting from Mountain Home we'll take Troop 80 and Alpine Trails over to Pantoll.  From there we'll make our way past Mountain Theater and up to West Peak, with 360 degree views.  From there we'll head down to Rifle Camp, then over to Northside and International Trails, taking us up to and over Ridgecrest Blvd. before making our way over to West Point Inn, with more spectacular views.  From there we'll make our way back to Mountain Home via Nora, Matt Davis and the Hogback.  Dogs are allowed throughout the watershed, but not at Pantoll which is State Park.  There's an easy way to avoid Pantoll if you'd like to bring your pooch.

Bring / Wear:  Please bring plenty of water, lunch, snacks, sturdy hiking shoes   and layers.

Weather Policy:  Check with hikeleader in the event of questionable weather.

Trailhead Meeting Place:  We'll meet for the hike at Mountain Home Inn.  Exit US 101 at the Hwy 1/Stinson Beach off ramp. Turn left at Tam Junction to stay on Hwy 1. Continue for 8 miles until a fork in the road. Keep right to head up towards Mt. Tamalpais and Muir Woods. At the intersection (4 Corners) take the middle option - straight ahead. Continue for ~ 2 miles. You'll see Mountain Home Inn on the right and a large parking area on the left. Most likely the lot will be full. In that case, continue straight up past the Inn, rather than turning left to stay on Panoramic. Almost immediately there will be a right turn down a dirt road (following a short private driveway). There is usually plenty of parking there.  Google Maps Link
