Description:  We'll begin with a rather strenuous climb up from Stinson Beach on the Matt Davis trail, which, after a couple of miles of steady climbing along switchbacks, levels off and opens to nice views of the ocean. Lunch at Pantoll and return through beautiful redwood trees and falling water on the Steep Ravine trail. Our final leg back to Stinson Beach is along the relatively level Dipsea trail which features stunning coastal views.

Bring / Wear:  Please bring water, lunch, layers in case of fog or wind, hat, sunscreen, sturdy hiking shoes, hiking poles if desired.

Weather Policy:  Contact hike leader if weather is questionable.

Alternate Meeting Place:  Stinson Beach parking lot. Driving directions: From 101 North take the exit for Highway 1 and follow to Stinson Beach. At the corner past the stop sign in town, turn left for beach parking with the basketball court on your left. Follow that road to the end to the first parking lot. Go left and continue until it becomes a dirt road and opens into a large parking lot. Park and meet at south end of the parking lot near bathrooms. Google Maps Link
