Description: Let's walk across SF from the ocean to the bay. We'll walk on the beach before we move inland to go over Golden Gate Heights, hike to the top of Twin Peaks (lunch spot with a fabulous view), cross Noe Valley and the Mission, walk across Potrero Hill and the UCSF Mission Bay campus, and arrive at the Ferry Building, the end of the hike. Scenic highlights include bridge views (except when obscured by fog), SF architecture and streetscapes, urban art, tourists on Twin Peaks, perhaps neighborhood dogs.
Bring/Wear: lunch, snacks, water, layers, hat, good walking shoes, sunscreen, clipper card or Muni payment for riding to/from the hike.
