FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN VACCINATED AND ARE COMFORTABLE SHARING A RIDE, WE WILL BE MEETING AT THE ROCKRIDGE BART STATION - BOTTOM OF ESCALATOR - AT THE BELOW TIME. 
PARK ON THE STREET OR IN THE PARKING LOT BELOW (for a few minutes).
PLEASE CHECK WITH THE HIKELEADER FIRST. 
MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED.

Description:  Join me for a challenging hike in the green hills of Las Trampas Regional Wilderness through woodland vegetation of black sage, chamise, ceanothus, toyon, manzanita, coast live oak and bay laurel. From the staging area we'll hike through the shaded Bollinger Creek trail, climb up to the Las Trampas Ridge, down to the Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site, then climb back up to the ridge before descending back down to the staging area.

Alameda and Contra Costa Counties have relaxed the group-size restrictions.  Masks and distancing are still required.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED A RIDE AND/OR CAN TAKE A PASSENGER, AND WHAT YOUR COMFORT LEVEL IS REGARDING PASSENGERS.

Bring/Wear:  Bring water, lunch, snacks, hiking shoes, and a hat and sunscreen for the sunny areas. Hiking poles recommended for steep sections.  And your MASK.

Rain Policy: Canceled in the event of heavy rain.

Alternative Meeting Place: Staging Area for Las Trampas Regional Wilderness. To Reach The Park From I-580 in Castro Valley, take Crow Canyon Road north to Bollinger Canyon Road. Turn left (north) onto Bollinger Canyon Road and follow it into the park. From I-680 in San Ramon, take Crow Canyon Road west to Bollinger Canyon Road, turn right (north) and follow it into the park.
