Description: This is a beautiful late winter hike. We start at the upper end of Crown Road (there are 2!) in Kentfield. After going down to Phoenix Lake we'll head up the Yolanda Trail, with great views of lakes and valleys, and then back down towards the other side of Phoenix Lake along the Gertrude Ord Trail, then up Bill Williams Creek. We'll then go up past a very pretty, small waterfall to Eldridge Grade, down through the redwoods on the Tucker Trail and back up to the cars. There should be several early Spring flowers in bloom.

Bring/Wear: Lots of water, lunch snacks, layers and sturdy hiking shoes.

Rain Policy: Contact hike leader if weather is questionable 

Driving Distance: 40 miles total, there and back.

Alternative Meeting Place:  Exit US 101 at the San Anselmo/Sir Francis Drake Blvd off ramp.  Veer left to go below the freeway. Stay on SF Drake for just under 2 miles to turn left on College Ave.  There's a dedicated left turn lane.  Continue for .4 miles before turning right onto Woodland Rd.  In 500' turn right onto Goodhill Rd.  Stay on Goodhill for about a mile.  Turn left onto Crown Rd.  Once the view opens up on the right start looking for parking on the house side of the street.   https://goo.gl/maps/vSecXeFJNSdt4rxKA
