Description: We'll start at Tilden Park's Little Farm parking area, and after waving to the domesticated animals, hike up forested Laurel Canyon.  On the way, we will detour on the less travelled lovely Pine Tree Trail, then up to the Peace Grove where you can pay homage to your favorite luminary and named "Little" sequoias.  We'll take an early lunch at Wildcat Peak which affords fantastic 360 views. Afterwards, we'll "bushwack” across the park line to Wildcat Canyon Regional Park.  Here we walk along the ridge line with great views east and west, returning via secluded Havey Canyon and Wildcat Creek, finishing in the forest around Jewel Lake.  Sorry, no dogs allowed in Tilden.

Bring/Wear: Bring sturdy shoes, hat, sunscreen and lunch.

Directions from SF: Take I-80E to I-580W.  Exit Buchanan St (in Albany), right onto Buchanan and 0.5 mi to slight right onto Marin Ave.  Continue 2.0 mi (forward thru traffic circle) to slight left onto Cragmont Ave and 0.7 mi to merge onto Grizzly Peak Blvd.  Go 100 yd and turn right onto Wilcat Canyon Rd then quick left onto Canon Drive, then 0.4 mi to slight left onto Central Park Drive, https://www.google.com/maps/@37.9095974,-122.2669138,17z
