Description: We'll begin this classic Point Reyes hike at Bear Valley Visitor Center. We'll hike up to Mt. Wittenberg, then take Sky Trail, Woodward Valley Trail and Coast Trail down to gorgeous Sculptured Beach for lunch. We'll have beautiful views of Drake's Bay and Limantour Beach. After lunch we'll hike past Kelham Beach on the Coastal Trail before heading back to the cars. More than half of the hike will be in the shade, with several exposed sections along the coast. 

Bring/Wear: Sturdy hiking shoes, sunscreen, lunch, snacks and plenty of water.

Rain Policy: Contact hike leader if weather is questionable

Alternative Meeting Place: For those coming from the North or East Bay, we can meet you at the Bear Valley Visitor Center: https://goo.gl/maps/LXDKDwwvr7NJR6wi8 Take US 101 to the San Anselmo/Sir Francis Drake Blvd exit. Keep left at the fork. Continue on Sir Francis Drake for a bit over 20 miles, until you reach Hwy 1 in Olema. Turn right (north) and look for the sign for Bear Valley Visitor Center. Parking is free.
