Description: Let's walk across SF from the ocean to the bay. We'll ride the N Judah from the usual Safeway meeting place to the end of the line and then walk eastward. We'll walk on the beach before we move inland to go over Golden Gate Heights, hike to the top of Twin Peaks, cross Noe Valley and the Mission, walk across the UCSF Mission Bay campus, and arrive at the Ferry Building, the end of the hike. Scenic highlights include bridge views (except when obscured by fog), SF architecture and streetscapes, urban art, tourists on Twin Peaks, perhaps neighborhood dogs.
Bring/Wear: lunch, water, layers, hat, good walking shoes, sunscreen, Muni payment.
