Meeting TIME & PLACE:  Meet at Harvey Milk Plaza, above MUNI station at Castro & Market: 10:00AM.  Depart 10:15.

Description:  This is my favorite city hike.  We cover Dolores Heights, Kite Hill, Tank Hill, Sutro Forest, Mt. Olympus (click here for a fun history of the monument), Buena Vista Park and Corona Heights.  And there are spectacular views from everywhere.  We meet at Harvey Milk Plaza on Castro and Market, head over to Dolores Park, and then the exercise begins.  We'll be going up or down close to 20 stairways during this hike starting in Dolores Heights and ending with Vulcan Stairs and Corona Heights.  At any point feel free to peel away from the group (letting the hikeleader know). 

Bring / Wear:  Bring lots of water, snacks, lunch, sunscreen, and good non-skid walking shoes.  (There is a short section inside Sutro Forest where the trail can be a bit slippery going downhill.)

Rain Policy:  Hike will take place rain or shine.
